Wayne Colley (Proprietor)
Wayne runs the show!
He comes from a farming background with both his grandparents and parents owning working farms. He was raised on the land where hard work was just part of life.
As it is for most that have lived on farms, the kids pitched in as soon as they could walk!
Wayne recalls having to drive the tractor and not having enough strength at eight to push the clutch in… Just get on with it ‘boy’ his dad would say, lot to be done. Chores took up most of his spare time with the cattle, dogs, crops and of course his horses.
With the encouragement from his dad, Wayne soon developed a passion for horses and equestrian events of all types. Wayne excelled in showjumping and as a teenager this is what it was all about for him.
Professionally Wayne has spent a good portion of his working life in the automotive industry as a spare parts interpreter. Customer service was something that has always been foremost in any position he has held.
This is a philosophy that Wayne has taken and enhanced in his own business. He listens to his customers, does his utmost to provide what they want and offers advice where he can.

Amy Colley (Proprietor)
Amy too has a family history of rural life, with her family owning a sheep station in the St George area for many years before her parents branched out into owning their own orchard and small crops farm in the Granite belt.
Amy’s family moved to Pomona in 1989 where she started high school. She has lived in and around the area ever since (except a couple of years spent living in the Kimberley with Wayne and the kids!!).
Amy’s role in the shop is primarily book keeping on the weekend as she holds a full time job in Cooroy.
Celeste Manwaring (Sales Assistant)
Celeste’s career path has always involved the care of a variety of animals including poultry, cats, dogs, reptiles and horses.
She has a Certificate 1 in Vet nursing, is certified to sell reptiles in the retail environment and has extensive training in the nutritional needs of cats and dogs.
Her love of animals and her experience with them makes her an invaluable member of the team.
Tyndle Colley (Assistant)
Tyndle is the oldest daughter of Wayne and Amy.
Tyndle will be seen in the shop helping out or hanging out after school most days and on Saturday mornings.
Paige Colley (Assistant)
Paige is the youngest daughter of Wayne and Amy.
Paige will be seen at the shop helping out, looking after Storm or any other animal around.
She is there most afternoons after school and Saturday mornings.
Storm (“Naughty”) Colley
Storm (aka Naughty) is the shop vermin control dog.
She can be seen riding the forklift with Wayne, hunting for vermin in the shed or guarding the back of the shop on her lead.
Thunder Colley
Thunder is Storm’s big brother and he is often found keeping a watchful eye out for “Naughty”.
